Who's still playing on iRO Valkyrie?

I remember fighting 1vs1 with D2 gypsy for like 10 minutes on Izlude PvP arena once, but eventually I lost to position lag.

Wow, d/led and installed Valk, but Win 7 is being stupid and not letting me patch, so have to re d/l and reinstall, yay.

Did you try manual patch?

iRO patcher doesn't automatically ask for admin rights, so you have to right click it and start as administartor. Works for me on win 7.

Okay, I don't pretend to know how it worked, but after mantually installing the patch it was the same, and while re-d/ling the game, I randomly tried again and it worked.. I won't question it. =P Thank you! I'll assume the manual patching had something to do with it. I'm busy a lot, but I'll stop by sometimes to say hi to people. =)

Just make sure to not install it in Program Files, but in some random location instead.

I like the game, just will never be able to bring myself to grind to lvl 99 again, get uber geared, slaughter lesser guilds single-handedly, etc. =P

Me neither. Too bad, as it was great fun (well, maybe as a priest I couldn't exactly do it single-handedly, but thats not the point).
